Rek of Ignant Witted came through to rugged Sole yesterday to interview hip-hop producer Ayatollah and hip-hop group Diamond District.For those unfamiliar Ayatollah is was the producer who gave us classics such as Mos Def’s “Ms. Fat Booty”, Styles P’s “The Life”, Cormega’s “Rap’s A Hustle” and more. Diamond District is a DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) based trio that consists of Oddisee, YU and XO, and has been consistently making noise in the hip-hop underground.
